EDUCATION AND TRAINING
University of the Cumberlands- Masters of Physician Assistant Studies, University of Missouri- Bachelors of Biological Sciences
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Columbia and attended University of Missouri for my undergraduate studies, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. During that time, I also worked as a Patient Care Technician, an experience that strengthened my passion for patient care and taught me the importance of compassion, teamwork, and adaptability in medicine. After graduation, I continued my education at University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg. From my early experiences in direct patient care to my medical training, every step of my journey has shaped the provider I am today and reinforced my commitment to delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a Patient Care Technician, where I gained hands-on experience in patient care and developed a strong clinical foundation in communication, teamwork, and bedside care. During PA school, I completed rotations across multiple specialties, including family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, psychiatry, emergency medicine, general surgery, and orthopedic surgery. My training included experience in both rural and urban healthcare settings, which strengthened my adaptability and broadened my understanding of diverse patient populations and healthcare delivery.
FAVORITE ACTIVITY OUTSIDE OF WORK
Outside of work, I enjoy a variety of hobbies that help me stay balanced and recharge. I’ve recently gotten back into reading and always have my Kindle with me. I also enjoy hiking and going to the gym to stay active. Cooking is another passion of mine—I learned everything I know from my mom. In my free time, I love to travel and spend quality time with my friends and family.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU A GREAT PROVIDER?
What makes me a great provider is my ability to connect with people from all walks of life and meet them where they are. I genuinely enjoy caring for diverse patient populations and take pride in building trust quickly, especially in moments when patients are feeling vulnerable or uncertain. At the core of my work is a desire to give back and make a meaningful difference in the communities I serve.
